Careers and Employment makes every effort to prepare students for employment but it does not actually get jobs for students. The service encourages students to consider a variety of processes in seeking jobs. Students then access the work force themselves.

Careers and Employment offers international students an experienced International Career Counsellor. If you are unsure of your course or career direction; are considering being part of the IWPS; or are wanting your resume and application documents checked by a professional - our International Career Counsellor can help.
Career Mentor Scheme
A Career Mentor Scheme is being developed between members of the QUT alumni in Singapore and Singapore students on campus. To be eligible for this Scheme you must have completed the first year of your degree and be interested in finding out about the work force in Singapore from practicing professionals. We have mentors in the following disciplines:
- Business
- Law
- Health
- Creative Industries
- Science and Engineering
- Education
