Careers and Employment has a range of resources for you to get your resume ready for job applications.

Check out this video for an intro on our new resume help resources!

Resume Labs

Work on your resume in one of our computer labs under the guidance of a Career Counsellor who can provide advice on how to write a resume that will put you to the top of the applicant pile.  Resume labs are run weekly on either KG or GP campuses. Dates/times/bookings via CareerHub.

Walk-in Appointment

Walk-in resume checks are available at the Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove offices and usually occur twice a day, at 11am and 1pm. However, it is best to call on the day before coming in in case any of the scheduled time/s for the day have become unavailable due to staff illness, etc.

Walk-in sessions are not bookable -they are run on a first in, first served basis. The hour will be split between those who have turned up. Sessions are very popular and it is advisable to arrive at least half an hour early to ensure being seen.

Email Feedback

Students can submit their resume to the Resume Review form on CareerHub.

A member of the Resume Review Team will then return your resume with brief feedback on the suitability of the content, formatting and structure of your documents within five working days. Your resume will NOT be proof read for spelling and grammar.

Resume Review Padlet
