Resume feedback

Careers and Employment can provide constructive feedback to currently enrolled QUT students on your resume, cover letter and application documents. The resources below can help you get your resume and application documents ready for checking. The feedback will be returned within 5 working days.

Getting your applications ready:

• Career development programs: online modules to help prepare your application documents
• Info sheets: resume writing, cover letters, job applications, addressing selection criteria
• Workshops: resumes writing, job applications, addressing selection criteria

Submit your resume for feedback:

• Email your resume as a Word document only (other file types will not be accepted) to: careers@qut.edu.au
• Hard copy drop off: Careers and Employment offices

If available, please provide a copy of the job advertisement and/or selection criteria when submitting your resume.

**Please note: the feedback you receive will be from one counsellor’s perspective with regards to the structure, content and format of your resume. Your resume will NOT be proof read for spelling and grammar.
