We recognise that QUT Career Mentors are not professional career counsellors, and offer professional support services to be utilised in conjunction with your mentoring relationship.

Careers and Employment

The Careers and Employment website allows students to access information regarding:

  • current job opportunities,
  • career counselling appointments,
  • resume checking service,
  • workshops on resume writing, employment skills and career planning,
  • graduate destinations information,
  • work experience insurance.

Counselling Service

The Counselling Service provides a professional, confidential and free counselling service to students.

International Student Services

The International Student Services Office provides information on language on learning and student life, including employment issues such as visa requirements etc. Students can also access GoingGlobal through this site for international employment information.

Language and Learning

The Language and Learning service provides assistance to students struggling with English language and can provide assistance with assignments.

Student Guild

QUT Student Guild offers a casual employment service, advertising part-time and non-professional employment for students.
