AGS Info Sheet

Important information sheet for students completing their course in 2007.

Survey Population

The target population for the AGS is the group of people who are completing requirements for a higher education qualification in the previous calendar year. For example, the 2005 AGS data is obtained from graduates who completed their qualifications in 2004.

Survey Timelines

Graduates are surveyed approximately 3 months after completing their course. Those who complete their course mid-year are surveyed in October of the same year. Those who complete their course at the end of the year are surveyed in April the following year.

Data Collection Process

Graduates have the option of responding to the survey online or completing a paper copy of the survey. Individuals are invited to respond to the survey by mail through the post and onlinel. There are three reminder notices sent out to non-respondents.
