Companies can present on campus throughout the academic year on any of the three QUT campuses; Gardens Point, Kelvin Grove, and Carseldine. Generally, company presentations are scheduled between 12-1pm,1-2pm and 5-6pm. View the academic calender for optimum times to present.
Employers:
Availability of presentation dates will depend on demand and prior bookings. Presentation venues are typically tiered lecture theatres which range in size from 80-500 seats. Each theatre is equipped with an AMX theatre control system, PA system, OHP, 35mm slide projector, visualiser, video, and PC facilities. Your presentation can utilise multi-media or computerised packages such as Microsoft PowerPoint. To safeguard against incompatibility, it is recommended that you email your presentation material to us one week prior to the presentation date. Book here now.
Some students are unable to attend a company presentation due to study and work commitments. Careers & Employment are able to videotape your presentation for a fee of $110 . This videotape is held in the Careers Resource Centre and is a valuable resource for students.
Parking is available on the Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses. Please advise your requirements when booking your on-campus presentation.
Students:
There is no need to register for Company Presentations, please check with C&E staff for information after the presentation if you are unable to attend.
