C&E staff provide assistance in issues relating to course and career planning through individual and group sessions. Appointments are for a maximum of one hour. This service is free and available for current QUT students, recent graduates and staff.

Undergraduate domestic students

Appointments for an individual consultation with a Careers Counsellor can be made at either Gardens Point, Kelvin Grove or Carseldine.

Postgraduate Students:

A dedicated career support service is available through Careers & Employment. Appointments for individual consultation with the Postgraduate Career Counsellor can be made at Gardens Point.

International Students:

Appointments for an individual consultation with the Careers Counsellor can be made at Gardens Point.

"Walk-in" sessions for Career Counselling:

Available each day at Gardens Point, Kelvin Grove and Carseldine. It is not necessary to make a time, however these are short sessions and are available on a 'first in first served' basis. Contact C&E for daily session times.

Prospective Students:

For issues such as:

Wanting to study at QUT but don't know what course to take.
Examining pathways within QUT to achieve specific career goals.
Exploring the range of course options available.
Exploring a career change.

The charge of $88 incl GST is applicable for a 1 hour session with a qualified career counsellor.
